Several years ago, while reading the powerful book, " GOOD MORNING HOLY SPIRIT", the Holy Spirit came upon Ev. Florence in a tremendously glorious way. The LORD spoke to her saying, " You are now ready for the harvest. Take MY WORD to the North, East, West and South, give it to MY PEOPLE and bring them to ME. I will bring you many of MY Servants to help you carry the Mantle." At that period of time, Ev. Florence was a worshiper at Jesus Praise Center, Kakamega, Kenya.
Six months later, still afraid to go into full-time ministry, the Lord spoke to her again in an overnight prayer vigil(kesha), through Apostle Dr. Ephantus Ngigi, saying, " I have given you My Word to give to MY PEOPLE in the North, East, West and South, but you are afraid. Be NOT afraid, I will be with you". Another six months later, the Lord confirmed His word through Apostle John Ssekalala and Rev. Elias Ndeda, both of South Africa during a revival at JPC-Kakamega. Immediately after, Ev. Florence founded WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES Intl.
Ev. Florence together with her WORD ALIVE team, have preached with other powerfully anointed men and women of God in East Africa and America. WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES Intl., with the help of voluntary donations and love offerings from partners, has reached thousands of people who have attended crusades, revivals, and seminars.
Although Ev. Florence lives in Texas, USA, her heart has for many years been dedicated to her ministry work, vision and goals in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, where she has helped over 46 churches with church growth and development, through open-air crusades, revivals, seminars, and door-to-door evangelism. She usually spends 6-8 months every two to three years in East Africa, preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in rural areas and living among the locals, just as Christ did.
The work of ministry is accomplished through powerful prayer networking of her prayer partners; Apostle Dr. Ephantus Ngigi (California, USA) Apostle Elisha Muliri ( Nairobi), Pastor Peter Ngene (Kisii), Pastor Robert Lumbasi ( Malava), Pastor Luke Ndhiwa ( Mumias), Pastor Gladys Ngene (Pennsylvania, USA), Sister Josephine Magotsi (Kakamega), Gospel Singer Angela Chibalonza Muliri [now deceased] (Nairobi) , Gospel Singer Celestine Mutochi, The 24 Elders Band - Shekinah International Church (Nairobi), Pastor Wyckliffe Lumwachi (Kakamega), Pastor Alex Kabole (Word Alive Prayer Centre, Shianda), and Pastor Adams Okeno (Redeemed Gospel Church, Majengo[Vihiga]).
Our vision is to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all Nations, as well as help the local communities with development projects such as wells, schools, children's homes etc.
